The School of International Studies of the Jagiellonian University

SIS is one of the youngest and fastest developing schools at the Jagiellonian University – a renowned institution of higher education with a rich history dating back to 1364. Our school, internationally recognized for the quality of its undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, offers eighteen degree programmes and a large number of mobility patterns under Socrates/Erasmus or joint degree programmes. This constitutes the richest offer in the field of international, political and regional studies in Poland. Here, we present ten selected programmes, all taught entirely in English.

A discount card for international students

For the first time international students at the Jagiellonian University have received a "Study in Krakow" programme discount card that gives them access to a wide range of discounts in Krakow theaters, clubs, galleries, museums and services.
The free-of-charge card looks like a credit card and will be given to international students of all Krakow universities taking part in the "Study in Krakow" programme. Polish students who act as guides for their foreign colleagues will also receive a card. 20 companies and institutions have declared participation in the programme so far and organizers plan to expand the offer in the future. The "Study in Krakow" programme begun in 2008 and its aim is to encourage foreigners to apply for the Krakow universities. The organizers are the city of Krakow and nine universities.
