HE Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Poland to speak at JU
On Wednesday, 5 June 2013, HE Murad Ali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Poland, will deliver a lecture entitled "Pakistan's Quest for Peace in the Region". The meeting will be part of the series: Jagiellonian Diplomatic Encounters, initiated in the adademic year 2012/2013 by the Faculty of International and Political Studies.

HE Murad Ali was born in 1954. He is a Pakistani diplomat. He used to be Director (1997 – 1999) and Director General of the Foreign Service of Pakistan (2005-2007) He was employed at diplomatic posts in Tripoli (1983-1986), Seoul (1988-1991), Abu Dhabi (1991-1993), Los Angeles (1993-1996), Bagdad (1999-2002) and London (2002-2005). In August 2007 he was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. Since 2010 he has held the post of the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Poland.
