CEL: Challenging Eastern Limits

The Centre for European Studies (Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland) is proud to announce the "CEL: Challenging Eastern Limits" Conference, an entirely student run initiative that has called together an international panel of experts, who will present and comment on the current state of the Eastern Partnership, its successes and challenges, history and future. We warmly invite you to join and participate in this conference. It will take place on Friday, June 7th in Auditorium Maximum (Aula Mala), ul. Krupnicza 33, Krakow. Registration will run from 10:00 – 10:30 and the conference will begin at 10:30 with an opening ceremony and speeches.

Throughout the day, participants will enjoy lectures and discussion panels with leading experts in the field: Prof. Xymena Kurowska (Central European University, Budapest), Rafał Sadowski (Centre for Eastern Studies, Warsaw), Dr. Stanisław Górka (Jagiellonian University, Krakow), Paweł Świeżak (National Security Bureau of Poland, Warsaw), Zsuzsanna Vegh (Central European University, Budapest) and James Nixey (Chatham House, London). Participants may also participate in a raffle organized by the quarterly news journal, New Eastern Europe!
