Study abroad

International Relations and Area Studies Programme is available to students wishing to study abroad for one or two semesters as part of their degree. Students can choose several courses from among a number of specialization courses offered by the programme (please see the Curriculum).

2014/2015 ADMISSIONS
Entry requirements:

  • Completed application (see application form .doc below)
  • Written approval to study at the Jagiellonian University from their academic adviser, study abroad counsellor and/or Registrar of their home institution,
  • Transcript or other records of their academic achievements including degrees earned,
  • Curriculum vitae (resumé),
  • Two passport photographs,
  • Photocopy of the first page of passport (showing photograph and name),
  • Proof of English proficiency (non-native speakers only) at the level  B2 or higher.

All documents must be sent be postmarked at the latest by:

  • 30 June 2014 for the academic year 2014/2015 or autumn semester of 2014/2015
  • 20  December 2014 for spring semester of 2014/2015

Deadline extensions may be granted in rare cases and require a written recommendation by a full faculty member from the candidate home university.
Each candidate will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection which will be mailed to their home institution no later than one month after the deadline.
 

Tutition fees:
Two semesters: 3000 EUR
One semester: 1500 EUR
Students studying for two semesters may pay in two installments of 1500 euros (by 15 October) and 1500 euros (by 15 March).
